Hi, I'm Kara.
For more than 15 years, I have helped organizations turn complex ideas into products, systems and operating models that deliver lasting results. My experience spans leadership roles at Google, Microsoft and Cerner, as well as work with startups across the US, Europe and Asia as an operator, mentor, advisor and investor. I began my career as an examiner at the Federal Reserve, where I developed a rigorous foundation in regulation, risk and governance that continues to shape how I approach product and strategy.
Across industries, one principle has guided my work: understanding how systems function and what people truly need, then building solutions that bridge the two.
I founded Luna Orbit to bring strategy, product leadership and hands-on execution together, helping ambitious teams build products that work and endure.
Outside of work, I am an avid climber, hiker and traveler, drawn to new challenges and new places.
